UTS Gridiron

Division One football is the pinnacle of the Gridiron NSW league. It is the highest level of non-representative football available in the state. You must be over 18 years old to play Division One (younger players should check the Colts page).

Preseason training starts in late July every year, with the Gridiron NSW season running September – December.

Membership is not exclusive to UTS students, so if you are interested in playing, contact Matt Steel on 0418 600 326 or email info.

2009 Season

Registration day is Saturday 11th July @ Powells Creek Reserve (refer to map), Concord West from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Bring your football boots as everyone will be put through basic tests (40 yard sprint, T-test & Standing Long Jump). The results will assist the coaches in putting you in the best possible spot for the team and yourself.

The preseason is going to be very short and intense, so we are asking you to make “the sacrifice” and “the commitment” to the rest of your teammates to get to practice at every opportunity to make this year well worth it for everyone.
