This was advertised in the Village Voice which is a magazine that is distributed in and around the Canada Bay Council.

It’s also good to see our resident photographer Scott get a bit of acknowledgment as well.

There are plans to do the same over the next few months and I have already earmarked one of our Colts kids (Dane Ferraro) who has recently been selected on the Junior Australian Team that will be heading over to the US in August this year I think.

I also don’t have allot of time on my hands to administer these sort of things so if there is anyone within the club who is looking to take on what will be a new role being the “Media Liaison Officer” to coordinate these sort of things and other ways of advertising the club then drop me a line.

The position would not be an executive position within the club; it would simply be a committee member.

Form you own side or come down & we will put into a team. This is minimal contact version of Gridiron (no helmets, no pads, no tackling), and all are welcome to play.

TEAM & PLAYER REGISTRATIONS: Tuesday 6th May @ 7:00 pm

WHERE: Powells Creek Reserve (off Victoria Ave, Concord West - near Concord West Station) (Refer to map)

(Directions for driving are to turn into Wellbank St off Concord Rd, Then turn Right into Queen St, Left into the Pomeroy Rd, At the Lights turn right into George St & Victoria Ave is the last street at the end) Via Public transport the closest Train Station is Concord.

COST: $60 per player for Individual registrations – A Discount of $20 will apply to those players registered from the Div 1 2007 & Colts 2008 Sides.

$550 for a Team Registration (Team must have the maximum amount of 10 players & compiled by yourself)

PAYMENT OPTIONS: Credit Card, Cash or Direct deposit and must be paid in full prior to the start of the first round of matches (13th May)

SEASON: Tuesday nights 7:00 pm (throughout May, June & July)

PRIZE MONEY: There will be Prize Money made available to the winning team but the amount will be decided upon how many players and teams we get in the competition.
