Congratulations to James Kerr, the lucky winner of the trip to State of Origin 1 held in Queensland.
A big thankyou for all who purchased raffle tickets. The money raised went towards 3 of our colts players (Danny Noonan, Beau Payne & Dane Ferrara) who had been selected on the NSW Wolverines State squad heading to the Gold Coast for the Junior Nationals.

UTS Gridiron has been fortunate enough to have a fantastic trip (valued at $2,000) donated to the club from Phil Noonan who is the father of Danny Noonan (Colts QB).
The trip is for one (1) lucky person to travel to QLD with share accommodation (with Phil Noonan) and includes return air fares, transfers, 2 nights accommodation, golf (including club hire - optional), lunch and dinner Tuesday 22nd, breakfast and pre and post game meals/functions and game ticket to the State of Origin Wednesday 23rd May & breakfast Thursday 24th.

As a club we have decided to raffle this great trip off with all money raised going towards three (3) of our colts players (Danny Noonan, Beau Payne & Dane Ferrara) who have been selected on the NSW Wolverines State squad heading to the Gold Coast for the Junior Nationals.
The raffle will be drawn COB (5pm) Monday 14th May 2007 to give the lucky person who wins it time a week to get the time off work.
Tickets will be $20 each, available from Jason Whitaker email secretary.

There isn’t much time for this so you will have to move quickly. Remember, all money raised is going to a good cause, the 3 UTS colt’s players representing NSW!

The 2007 flag gridiron comp is now underway. Games are held from 6:45pm Thursday evenings at Powells Creek Reserve.
Players interested in joining come down Thursday or email Matt Steel president for more info.
On Saturday 5 May Fred & Paula will be hosting the UTS Pacific Island Experience day.
Cost will be $5 and drinks are BYO. The day kicks off at 11am with footie in the park and hanging out by the pool, followed by the Pacific Island feast at around 3-4pm. Friends and relatives are welcome to attend.

The Colts have only 2 games left of the regular season, playing the Seahawks this Friday night 20 April at St George Hockey Centre, with kick off 7pm.
The last game will be against the Storm Friday 27 April same place and time.
