The 2007 draw and roster have been added to the site. Refer to the pages under the Division One section.

A search box has been added to all pages. Just type in what you’re looking for and click search. Please note though Google search is not enabled within the MyTeam area, only pages from the public site.

The previous MyTeam password has now expired and only the current season’s password is now valid. Players who do not have access please get the details at training, or email webmaster.

Last Saturday marked the first team training session. Pre-season now continues Tuesday and Thursday nights, and Saturday mornings, with our first game Saturday 15 September.

If you have a spare $20 and want to claim bragging rights for being the best NFL tipper in the club. The tipping comp is open to all club members, family and friends. $2 from every tipper will be go towards the UTS Gridiron Club and the remaining $18 will be split amongst 1st, 2nd and 3rd place getters).

1. Go to www.OzTips.com.
2. From the ‘Home’ page, click “I’m new and I want to Tip” and register a new Login for the site (or, if you are already registered with OzTips, Login).
3. Click “I want to join a Tipping Comp” on the ‘Home’ page, or “Join a Tipping Comp” on the ‘Tipping’ page.
4. Enter the Comp # and Comp Password details above.
5. That’s it! Full instructions on how to Tip can be found on the ‘Help’ pages.
6. Details for payment ($20) will be sent to you in a separate email once you have joined. The club does except credit card, cheque, direct deposit and cash.

The pre-season team meeting is being held this Saturday 21st July 10am – noon, at UTS Broadway. Everyone is to meet in the foyer at 9:45am. Any questions please contact Matt Steel on 0418 600 326 or email president.

The Level 0 Officiating Course is being held this Saturday 14 July 10am - noon. This is a great way for new players to understand to the rules of gridiron football. Players interested who have not yet registered should contact Matt Steel on 0418 600 326 or email president.

Fitness Training begins (Voluntary Practice)

Level 0 Officiating Course (This is a good way for new players to understand to the rules of the game.)

Andrew Douglas (Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator) - Andrew has been involved with Gridiron since 1987, and enters his third year as the Head Coach of UTS Gridiron. In 2005 Andrew introduced the Spread Offense and is looking to build on the solid performances achieved from season 2006.

Ese Enari (Defensive Coordinator) - Ese has been involved with Gridiron since 1986, and enters his fourth coaching season with UTS Gridiron. Ese has also been the Defensive Coordinator for NSW State Squads and Australian squads.

Thomas Hester (DB’s & LB) – Thomas announced his retirement as player at the end of the 2006 season and will enter his first year coaching for UTS. (Playing Seasons 2000, 2003 - 2006)

Martin Head (QB & WR) – Rejoins the club’s coaching personnel after having a break for a couple of years. This will be Martin’s fourth year as coach with UTS. (Playing seasons 2000 - 2001, Coaching 2002 - 2004)

Anthony Maxwell (DL) – Anthony has found his way back to UTS after having a brief stint coaching the Mustangs. (Playing Seasons 1996 -1998, Seasons 2000 - 2003, Coaching Season 2004)

Team Delta Force have shown their colours defeating Team SOFT in lastnight’s Grand Final 5-4.

Celebrating their victory Delta Force have organised a social night this Friday 8 June starting at James Squire, then later onto Cohibar. All are welcome to join. Club members interested should check the forums or email VP Simon.

The UTS Flag Gridiron Grand Final is being played next Thursday, 31 May 2007 @ Powells Creek Reserve, with kick off 7:30pm.
