I will be organizing to place an order by the end of next week with Eastbay in time for Xmas.
If you are keen to get anything whether it is for yourself or perhaps for your partner then take a look over the website www.eastbay.com.
I don’t do this to make any money out of people I just happen to have an account with them, and it makes it cheaper for people to combine orders as we share the shipping charge by the amount of items that are purchased.
If all goes to plan then the order will be being placed 30th November. This would also mean that your money will be required at the same time as well. I won’t be waiting or people who haven’t paid for the stuff upfront.
So get back to me if you are keen to get anything by supplying me with the item & style number as well as your size that you require. Email president or call 0418 600 326.

As promised the club has planned a BBQ for this Saturday (17 November), with details as follows:
Location - Centennial Park, Randwick (Enter the park via the Darley Rd Entrance which is off Allison Rd near the Randwick racecourse) Refer to google maps for details.
Food - The club has $100 which was won at the recent UTS Clubs trivia night to put towards some food & drinks. (I’m thinking a combination of meats/salads/bread and drinks) for all to share.
Plan - Some of us are aiming to get down there nice and early (around 10am) to secure a BBQ. So feel free to rock up from anytime after 10am. Food should be on about 12/12:30. This should be a good opportunity to sit back and relax in the park, throw round the footy, have a good feed, discuss issues such as the impending election, or simply bask in the sun.
All are welcome, including friends and family of UTS Gridiron.
If you could try and give some indication as to your attendance so we can plan estimated food requirements, apart from that - hope to see you there.

Manhattan Superbowl and Newmarket Hotel
549 Gardeners Road (cnr Botany Road) Mascot
7.30pm dinner followed by bowling at 9pm.
We’ve organised bowling for this Friday (16 November). It would be good for everyone to make an effort as this is a team bonding exercise - and fun!
We are taking the “pub and bowl package”. This consists of dinner at the Newmarket Hotel, and then bowling next door at Manhattan Bowl.
We have two Menu options:
Menu A
- Choice of beef/chicken or Vege burger with a side of chips
- $37 pp
OR
Menu B
- Choice of rump steak + salad and chips
- Chicken snitzel + salad and chips
- Basil & ricotta gnocchi smothered in a roasted tomato sauce with toasted pine nuts & shaved parmesan
- $42pp
The menus are NOT for individual choice - we have to make a group choice for either Menu A or B - as this is the package for pub and bowl.
The lane has been booked so please get back to me by TUESDAY with which Menu we want to go with.
Please respond by return of email to jebelle.

Sunday November the 18th 2007 has been set aside by Gridiron NSW as the only in season open trial day for those interested in playing in the 2008 National Championship Team.
In keeping with recently established tradition, a physical testing day and information session will held at Sir Thomas Mitchell Reserve, Alexander St, Dundas Valley commencing at 1 pm.
This is a physical assessment day so no football equipment other than boots will be required.
Any player wishing to be considered for the Wolfpack V squad for the 2008 Nationals should consider this a must attend event as all players will be put through a series of physical requirements so as to allow the coaching staff to obtain a series of benchmark standards to be applied throughout the preparation training.
Should injury prevent you from participating it is important that you at least attend and lodge an expression of interest with the coaches.
Following the trial and after consultation by all coaching staff involved with the State side a selected training squad will be announced on Championship Day.
It is important if we are to maintain our position as the premier state for Senior Football that all players coaches and team personal get behind our push for 4 in a row.
For any additional information/questions contact Head Coach Mark Levin on 0418 499 819 or email markandlynda88.
