The AGM is a chance for club members to vote for the UTS executive team. It will take place at 12:00pm on Sunday, 19th February, at The Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club, Marine Parade, Maroubra. The Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club is the pink colored building on the Beach side of Marine Pde. Entry is from the promenade (walkway) side.
This meeting is very important for all club members to attend and vote on all executive positions. If you aren’t already aware all executive members from 2005 stand down from current positions and have to be reelected if they choose to run for the position again or make themselves available to other positions.
Executive positions that are within the club are: President (currently held by Matt Steel), Vice President (currently held by Essa Lakmas), Secretary (position currently not held), Treasurer (currently held by John Kritikos), University Liaison Officer (currently held by Simon Irrgang), Registration Officer (position currently not held).
If there is anyone interested in perhaps seeking further information on the above executive positions then please get in touch with Matt Steel email president and he will forward you the job descriptions.
The Superbowl party was held at the Universities Glasshouse Bar Monday 6th February (9:30am), where the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Seattle Seahawks. It was a lot of fun and good to see so many familiar faces.

DVDs of UTS’s Division One Season are available for purchase to UTS players only. There are 5 DVDs, 4 containing games and one containing highlights. Each DVD is $5 each or $20 for the lot. Please place your order email coach asap.

Think you’ve got what it takes to be part of the UTS Gridiron Colts? NOW IS YOUR CHANCE! The UTS Gridiron 2006 colts season will be starting Tuesday, 31st January, 7pm - 9pm, at Powell’s Creek Reserve, Victoria Avenue, Concord. Thereafter, pre-season training will be held twice a week, every Tuesday 7pm - 9pm and Sunday 2pm - 5pm. The regular season will begin on 10th March. The 2006 Colts coach is Gordon Chan. Please contact him on 0416 296 607 or email colts.
Directions: Victoria Ave (Directions for driving are to turn into Wellbank St off Concord Rd, Then turn Right into Queen St, Left into the Pomeroy Rd, At the Lights turn right into George St & Victoria Ave is the last street at the end) Via Public transport the closest Train Station is Concord.
Things to bring: Football Boots, Shorts, Medicare Card Number
Cost: The cost for the season will be roughly going to be around $350. This includes your full set of equipment hire, player registration cost, a basic insurance and a jersey to keep. Please bring at least $50 on the first day to cover your insurance. Fees may be paid in installments.

Awards, fun, speeches and beer. The UTS Gridiron Division One Presentation is a great chance to catch up with team mates and reflect on the 2005 season. Friends, and partners welcome.
Date: Saturday 4th February
Time: 1:00pm start - finish is to be around 5pm.
Where: The Gallery Function Centre (located on Level 6 of the Tower building within the University of Technology, Broadway)
Cost: $30 per person (Partners and friends are also welcome to attend)
Dress: Smart Casual
Food: There will be a BBQ Lunch available there is no cost for this as its part of your $30.
Drinks: There will be a cash bar selling all sorts of stuff at Uni Prices
