The NSWGFL Presentation will be held on Sunday, 8-Dec-02 at the Paddington Woollahra RSL (226 Oxford St Paddington). This is a league event and all players are required to attend. Contact the Club treasurer, Matt Steel, by Wednesday night to obtain your tickets ($35 each), or to advise if you cannot make it!

The NSWGFL wishes to congratulate the following finalists in the 2002 “Stephen Jones NSWGFL MVP of the year award”. This league award was introduced to honor the efforts of the Raiders’ founder in establishing American Football in NSW. The players are selected through a points system distributed at the end of every game. The winner will be announced at the league presentation. Below are the finalists:

The sit-down function will be held at the UTS Gallery Function Centre, Level 6 of the Broadway campus. Price includes a 3 course meal. Partners, friends and family are welcome. After the meal and awards we will head up the road to the Friend In Hand hotel.

UTS Seniors Training times:
Saturday, Wentworth Park, 2pm - 4:30pm.
Wednesday, Taplin Park Drummoyne, 7:30pm - 10pm

Players are reminded to arrive around half an hour early so they are ready to go on time. If any paperwork needs to be done before training players are asked to be earlier to get it out of the way first. Players unsure of training due to wet weather should contact the Club phone line (0500 556 667).

The UTS Juniors have played their last game against Bondi ending their season in a thrilling 6-6 draw. Unfortunatly the Juniors place 5th after unluckily drawing the 3 teams that eventually finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd to play twice during the season. Our congratulations go out to the UTS Juniors side for an excellent season and we hope many more to come.
